A superb period paddock photograph from the 1971 Spa 24 Hours at Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium, showing the Ford Capri RS2600 #32 of Harald Menzel and Bernd Blank.Entered by Grab, the 2.9-litre V6 Capri competed in Division 3 of the European Touring Car Championship event. Menzel and Blank qualified 23rd with a time of 4:32.4, but their race ended in retirement due to an oil-pressure problem.The photograph provides a wonderful glimpse behind the scenes of early-1970s touring-car racing.
